OTAY Hair, Beauty & Cosmetics uses your information to provide salon services and keep in touch about your appointments.

Information we collect

When you book or contact us, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, appointment details, service preferences, and messages or photos you choose to share. We also record booking-policy agreements, optional SMS consent, and basic security information such as request timestamps and IP addresses.

How we use it

We use this information to manage bookings, approve appointment requests and prices, answer questions, exchange hairstyle reference photos, send service updates, and manage deposits and invoices. Both authorized business owners can access customer conversations so either can help you.

Service providers and payments

We use Cloudflare to host and protect the website and store booking information and photos, Square to process payments and invoices, Resend to deliver email, and Twilio to deliver SMS and MMS. These providers receive the information needed to perform their services. We do not store your full payment-card details on this website.

Mobile information and SMS consent

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties except the service providers needed to deliver the messages. Text consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. You can reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. See our SMS terms.

Photos, security and retention

Customer message attachments are stored privately and accessed by authorized owners. A short-lived download link is provided to Twilio when we send a photo to your phone. Photos sent for appointments or private conversations are not permission to publish them in our gallery. We keep records as needed for customer service, payments, business records, and applicable requirements.

Your choices

You can book without agreeing to text messages. To request access, corrections, or deletion of your information, email beautybyotay@gmail.com. Some payment or business records may need to be retained. Text opt-outs do not prevent necessary booking emails.
